We believe in inductive, qualitative methods. Using inductive methods means being attentive to what is there, not what our preconceived expectations tell us might or should be there. Inductive methods require sincere engagement with people in communities to determine what the important issues are and how they interpret them because inductive methods also attribute expertise to those who are directly affected.
